Description
Wabo® StripSeal is an expansion joint system consisting of an elastomeric rubber gland that is mechanically locked between two steel edge plates. This design provides a superior watertight sealing solution, ensuring long-term performance even under demanding conditions.
The rugged construction of Wabo® StripSeal is built to withstand heavy vehicular traffic loads, while maintaining effective sealing of expansion joints in bridges and other structures, accommodating movements of up to 5 inches.
This system can be custom-manufactured to fit various field configurations and support multidirectional movements. The neoprene seal is designed for flexible installation — it can be inserted either before or after the steel edge plates are attached to the superstructure. Precision-machined steel components ensure easy installation and minimal tolerance issues during fabrication.
